Comrades Novice Project

NEWSFLASH!!! The Bonitas Comrades Novice Project brought to you by Runner’s World.

The Comrades Marathon Association is proud to announce the launching of a brand new project for novice Comrades runners.

We all have a friend or family member who has threatened to run Comrades, but never has, or we know a seasoned runner who has started but never finished the race due to the lack of motivation and support.

The Bonitas Comrades Novice Project is for all recreational and seasoned runners who want to take up the challenge of The Ultimate Human Race. The project will contain expert advice from the Comrades Coach in the form of interactive dialogue between novices and other experts like biokineticists nutritionists and others. The project will also include a number of seminars to afford novices the opportunity to interact personally with the experts and fellow runners.

Nedbank Matha Series: Watering Point

A message from our chairman, Pieter, who was "chief-in-charge" of the Nedbank race:

A big THANK YOU to all members and friends who helped at the refreshment station at the Nedbank race on Saturday. We asked for 20 helpers and I believe that there were about 45. From the lead car I could see that Wingate Road Runners did AGN proud and the water sachet that I received was ice cold.
